Ketjen’s Latest Hydrotreating Catalysts Rapidly Become Industry Standards

Ketjen’s PULSAR® KF 787 and KF 774 catalysts, introduced in 2019 and 2021 respectively, are widely adopted in refining operations worldwide and have been applied across 60 commercial cycles.

Ketjen’s new PULSAR® catalysts cover a wide range of distillate applications, from low to high pressure, and process difficult feedstocks, resulting in higher margins, increased activity, and longer run times.

For a comprehensive analysis of these advancements, including both financial and operational advantages, read our article featured in PTQ's Catalysis 2025. The article includes three case studies by Dr. Andrea Battiston, Ketjen's Global Business Advisor for Clean Fuel Technologies, which illustrate the versatility and efficacy of the PULSAR® platform across diverse unit pressures and feedstocks.
